A client calls; his dog is itchy and has red skin. The owner wants to pick up medication because “it is the same as last time,” his pet had a skin problem. The dog hasn't been seen at your clinic in over a year. What would you say to this client?

A client complains that the DVM must not be very good because they keep bringing in their pet for the same thing, and their pet isn’t getting any better. When you look in the medical record, you notice numerous notes about the client not following the treatment recommendations or giving the prescribed medications. What could you do to build trust with this client?

Clients often feel uneasy when visiting the veterinary hospital. People often expect the worst or have seen horror stories on social media. Explain how would you demystify a visit to your veterinary hospital.
